Gymnast of the Week: Maggie Murphy (Penn)
Murphy delivered a standout performance for Penn on the road, highlighted by an exceptional routine on balance beam where she posted a 9.925, tying for second place. The score ranks as the third-highest beam mark in program history. She also contributed strong performances on vault (9.750) and floor (9.800), helping propel Penn to a 195.900, its second-highest team score of the season. Murphy’s consistency across her events continues to be a key factor in the Quakers’ success.
Specialist of the Week: Michelle Ngo (W&M)
Ngo delivered a memorable performance during William & Mary’s 50th Anniversary meet, turning in a career-high 9.775 on uneven bars to win the event while also adding a strong 9.800 on floor. Both routines contributed to team scores, helping the Tribe achieve a season-high 48.475 on bars, a 48.975 on floor (10th-best in program history), and a 194.675 team total (9th-best in program history). Her performance reflects the impact of her continued hard work and leadership.
Newcomer of the Week: Annie Bilbe (Yale)
Bilbe continued her impressive rookie campaign with another strong showing for Yale, tying for second on vault with a 9.775 and earning second place on floor with a 9.900. Competing with confidence and consistency, she has become a reliable contributor in the Bulldogs’ lineup. This marks her sixth Newcomer of the Week honor this season, further highlighting her standout first year.
